Welcome to The Beast Dietitian, the online home of Empowered Beast Nutrition. I’m Taiyyibah Moughal, RDN, CDN, ISAK-1, HMCC—a sports performance and media dietitian dedicated to helping you fuel with confidence, perform your best, and feel truly empowered in your body.
I work with athletes who demand results: weight-class and combat athletes (Jiujitsu, MMA, wrestling), team sport athletes, endurance competitors, and high school through collegiate athletes. I also specialize in working with individuals managing PCOS, seeking sustainable weight loss, and navigating hormone balance.
What sets me apart?
I offer both virtual and in-person consultations at my office, equipped with the InBody 580—one of the most advanced body composition analyzers available. This professional-grade technology provides precise data on muscle mass, body fat percentage, segmental analysis, and more; giving you actionable insights to track real progress, not just scale weight.
As an ISAK Level 1 Anthropometrist, I also provide detailed body composition assessments for athletes who need smart, safe changes. I’m HMCC certified (Health Mindset Coaching), meaning I help you build a more empowered mindset around food, performance, and your body—not just hand you a meal plan. As a member of the Combat Weight Class Special Interest Group with ASPDA, I stay current on cutting-edge sports nutrition strategies.
My foundation is solid: I completed my Dietetic Internship at LIU Post with 1,200+ supervised practice hours at Stony Brook University, Veterans Affairs Northport, and NYU Langone Health. I hold a B.S. in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from Queens College (CUNY), giving me deep knowledge of how the body moves, trains, and recovers.
I’m also a media dietitian, sharing evidence-based nutrition advice in articles and interviews—because everyone deserves to fuel like an athlete.

One of my key specialties is Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). I create tailored nutrition strategies to support hormone balance, improve symptoms, support fertility goals, and enhance overall well-being—without extreme restriction or all-or-nothing rules
